Over a decade ago, a good friend
of mine asked me to be her wedding officiant. It was
a great opportunity as it allowed me to apply all
of my skills and experience in a very meaningful way.
It was also the beginning of doing ceremonies as a
part of my life's work.
My belief in the sacredness of all
of life and a passion for counseling was the impetus
for my Masters in Counseling with a spirituality emphasis
from Seattle University. Twenty years of experience
in counseling, teaching and program administration
has given me the skills to plan, create and preside
over ceremonies. My insights about relationships,
coupled with the expression of love and life we find
all around us are strengths that I apply to the
creative process in developing your unique ceremony.
My style is a personal one. I really
enjoy getting to know couples and their families.
I love the Northwest and feel that we are all particularly
blessed to live in such a beautiful and romantic
part of the world. The locations and settings for
ceremonies combined with the special relationships
I have been a part of, have made this a truly enriching
venture.
